cleaned the throttle body, now truck won't start..

Hello
Here is my problem:

I have just changed my cap and rotor, started the truck and it started just fine. I then turned it off, and started again, once again it started just fine.

Now i thought hey why not clean the throttle body too, since i got the hood open. WRONG MOVE, here is when all the trouble started..

So i removed the entire intake to access the throttle body. Then i sprayed throttle body cleaner into the the throttle body, cleaning the butterfly plate and surrounding area.

Next i remember having a bottle of SEAFOAM, reading the directions, it said pour it into the throttle body with the car running so ATTEMPTED to start the car. then i heard a a pop that was not too loud and the car did not start.

scared shitless, i replace all the intake parts and tried starting the card again. NO LUCK, i can hear the starter, trying to start the engine but nothing else.
PLEASE help me out

Alright, you heard a pop, like it wants to start, but it flooded, something like that? What year is your truck? Try pressing the gas pedal all the way to the floor, while turning the engine over, it may take a few seconds (10 or more), but assuming you put all the intake back together properly, and plugging in all the sensors (assuming its a newer truck, MAF very important), you should get it to start.

Sounds like it could be hydrolocked. Is the engine actually turning over.

Re: cleaned the throttle body, now truck won't start..

LOL...

Just to let you know, or anybody else for that matter, putting the pedal to the floor puts the computer in( I don't remember what its technically called) flood clear mode. It stops the injector(s) from spraying fuel to let you clear it while cranking. As soon as it starts though, let off the pedal, you don't want to rev it just as it starts...really bad on internals(bearings).

Oh and this works for all computer controlled vehicles, from like '87 to present.
