tips to improve ride quality?
The ride quality on my 97 is lacking, to say the least. Ive only owned it a year and a half, I dont remember it being this crappy when I first got it. Every little bump feels quite major.
Tires are all fine, and inflated to the correct pressure. How do I know if I need shocks? I tried to bounce it up and down, it doesnt bounce too much..... Anything I can do? Its getting to the point where Id rather not drive it at all. |

Re: tips to improve ride quality?
Your springs and torsion bars don't really bounce as much as the old boats did, so it's a little harder to tell when your shocks are gone.
If they are leaking it's time to replace them Here's a topic oddly enough titled How to improve your ride quality, which might help http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=531075 Other than that you'll have to look into tuning it with different shocks, or even changing the tire pressure a little might help Before you change shocks make sure that they are good quality |

Re: tips to improve ride quality?
Stiff suspension is good, soft suspension usually is a sign of a component wearing out.
