2002 Jeep Liberty Ltd side rear window access/fix

Anyone got a clue as to firstly why a rear side window would suddenly stop working (even though the motor still seams to be going) and just float freely up and down?

Is it possible that the window came off a track? Any ideas on how to remove the door panel?( I only found 2 screws and that hasn't helped)

I would say the lift arm came off the track or the gear came off of the shaft, Take the 2 screws out and it should be held on by push in pins into the door frame, you'll have to pry it out. get a tool for this so you don't tear anything up .There fairly cheap at most auto stores.
