Lightbulb Cold Air Induction

I am thinking about installing a homemade Cold Air intake in my cressida. Has anyone done this. And if So what did you use, and how did you do it. Any and all help is appreciated.

does anyone know what the wheel ratios are, as well as the peek horsepower and its range.

the 5m-ge is 160hp. I don't know about the MX73's airbox, but my MX83 needs an adapter to use a conical air filter. Of course you can just route some drier hose from your bumper to your intake, instant 2 hp at 75mph! lol

Question Do I need my airbox

Is My airbox needed in the installation of a CAI system. I do not really want to carve up my car in order to put a system in. So all you did was to put a conical filter into your airbox.

all we did on our project supra is take a piece of 3" stainless pipe, some rubber fittings, and a filter adapter with cone filter, and make our own. you basically take every piece of tube from the throttle body to the Mass Air Sensor and replace it with stainless pipe and fittings. then unscrew the stock airbox from the Mass Air Sensor and screw the cone adapter on it. after that, just put the cone on and go.
