Cam suggestions for a 95 LT1 Camaro
So ive got a 95 camaro with an lt1, ive already put cold air intake, underdrive pullys, throttle body air foil, vortech intake elbow, no cats, and flowmaster 3in exhaust its fast but i think its time for a mild cam. Im looking for a cam that will work well with a pretty much stock motor, i will of course have it professionally tuned after. i want it to not have much of a problem starting, keep a highway driveablility, and ive heard that when you put to hot of a cam in that you get like a violent jerking at certain speeds, id like to avoid that if its true, im looking to gain some nice horsepower, and that beefy cam sound. i look at cams in summit and i know what the numbers mean but not how to relate them to what i want. the car is also an auto with a shift kit. I was thinking an Lt4 hot cam, but would i need just the cam or the KIT to do the heads also it include the 1.6 roller rockers, valve springs, caps,keys, and valve spring shims. would i need lifters? the specs on the cam are (218 intake 228 exhaust @ .050, .525 intake, .525 exhaust) i need some help here im running 13 flat to 13.4 on average and want to be 12's or lower
