95 Windstar radiator fan won't stop running
95 Windstar made in Canada with 202,000 miles has developed a new problem today. My wife parked the car in the garage and 30 minutes later when I drive in the fan is still running. I had to disconect the battery to stop it from running. What can I do to fix this problem?

It sounds like your relay control is sticking. These are known to fail. Take a look at my signature. There is a link to WisWinds repair pics. I bet your answer is in there. Regards Dan

The fans on the '95 windstar, like my '96 are controlled by the PCM, through the CCRM. I am guessing that the CCRM is the cause, as they should NOT be running with the engine OFF.
As stated above, the CCRM is in my pictures, as I have replaced it on my '96. I bought the part from http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=214072 |
