The first time you went to jail...

Alright, I'm posting this thread because earlier this week, I spent my first night in jail. It was fun, and I am just curious to know who has and what it was for...

So please, give some detail as to how it started and what happened. I'm betting almost half of you went due to a consumption of alcohol. Anyway proceed.

My story is short and simple. Went to eat, drank to much. Got rowdy in the restaurant with the boys and before I know it, cops are there and I'm being cuffed. Although I did spend about 5 hours in a cell (virgin here) it was kinda funny when I sobered up. I was released with no charges, and the cop dropped me off at a local Tim Hortons and gave me 10 bucks for breakfast. No lie!

Never been to jail. Although, my buddy was put in a Mexican jail for about 18 hours for alcohol related reasons. They took his wallet, shoes, glasses and some other stuff. Theifing Mexican Police.

my 18th birthday, i threw a hotel party during the day/evening. Then at around 4 AM when pretty much everyone but a few of my close friends had left we decided to go get some food. We did some stupid stuff in the car, i was driving. Cops were called and boom i was arrested. Spent a night in jail for drinking and driving.

Never went yet, fortunately. Surprising because I'm always wandering around drunk on weekends, but neither here nor there.

Anyways, one of my friends went earlier this year for slapping a guy in the face with a piece of pizza while intoxicated.

Went once. It was a missunderstanding. The cops thought they saw me hit a guy but we were doing a WWE type fight (Throw punch and slap chest to make it sound real) and a cop saw it. Took me to jail and it too my friend 20 min. to talk him out of it.

Hmmm, the FIRST time prolly doesn't count. I was 10 in Breaux Bridge L.A. Got separated from my Dad, wandered around, looking for our truck, couldn't find it, so as I walked by the police station, I went in and told them what was going on. They kept me there, gave me drinks and food (from thier own stuff) and went and found my Dad. Other than that, I have been in jail ( longest was 60 days) 4 times. I wish I could rant about the cops, but, honestly, I deserved it every time. I have been a firefighter fot 13 years, and gotta admit, public service suxx.
Sure, I still get upset when I get followed by the highway patrol, and sometimes pulled over, but that is just part of having a "spors car" I'm sure the cowl hood and the loud exhaust do not help :-)

I've never been to jail...I've been chased by cops, and I've been cuffed and searched (all juvenile shit) but they've never brought me in...and id like to keep it that way

I was taken to the police station once (not in the jail cell) when I was a junior in high school for 3rd degree assault. I later got the charges dropped.

hahah...well the first time i went to jail was when i was 15...2 misdameanor charges and 2 felony charges...fun times...
