Unhappy Hooking up Stock amps to aftermarket HU

i have a 03 mustang v6 with the mach1 sound system. after hooking up my new head unit, the two connectors for my amp (6 wires on one and 3 on the other) were not hooked in. the question is how do i do it. is there something i need to buy or what. thanx.

hooking up an afterback deck to a stock amp is not normally a good idea.

thats how its done in my jeep that i just bought. could that by why the door speakers dont sound to great?

I wrecked it about a month ago. damage is the front end passenger side. i have 3 good 80% tread 30" wild countrys bought from les schwab. (4th one poped due to accident.)I also have brand new (still wraped in plasitc) front/rear bumper covers. the grey ones. also a brand new chrome grille.let me know if you need something. it will be going to the junk yard in a few weeks so hurry

Maybe. It depends on the stock system, new HU, and method/parts used for install. Usually I try to work around factory amps. It usually leads to too many problems unless the new harness is using RCA outputs to the factory amps.

it has some doube din alpine HU i dont know the number on it. it doesnt even have sub control on it. but there isnt any RCA's to the stock amp.

I also wouldnt recommend stock amps with an aftermarket HU. It is also best to have RCA's for the amp hookup.
