DSM guys, come in here please
I've got this guy in one of my threads(out of AF) who owns an automatic non turbo eclipse, says he puts 8k into it, about 190hp(that HAS to be low right?) The picture of the car has a big wing and a bodykit on it, but he's says he ported/polished the heads and new camshaft.
He's saying i'm a dumbass..yeah I know you dsm guys don't know me but listen to my openminded-ness, where was I, he says I don't know anything about dsm engines(4cyl awd) and that he belongs to these forums DSMtuners and 2gnt forums. he's saying we(all of us in the thread) don't know anything, when this guy doesn't even understand what the internals of an engine are. I have yet to see where the camshaft IS but it's in the block right? and when you port the heads, that's where the pistons work? he's bashing v8s and turbo v6s but I still think his car could be fast. from your experiences, Is this guy full of it or is he right? Is there a way I can help him or is his car a goner? Thank you |

Re: DSM guys, come in here please
He's an ignorant retard. An auto gs? Are you serious? 190 is going to be too high, try like 160 maybe. I wouldn't worry about some wack ricer dude.
And the camshafts are in the head which is above the block, and porting the head is for the valves not the pistons. And yes, he's a goner. Some poeple are just ignorant with their shit. Most people that talk a bunch of shit have slow cars so that's why they talk.

Re: DSM guys, come in here please
Sorry bro, but how can you possibley be bashing him about not knowing anything when you dont even know where the cams are and what a head is? 190 isnt exactly out of reach for a NT, especially one with cams. Ask him for a dyno sheet if you dont believe him, but I think starting these pointless arguements and running to other sites to back yourself up is kinda retarded.

edited* his car ![]() that quote isn't funny enough but this one is "What? are you a moron? Cams and ported/polished heads IS INTERNALS!!! We don't help people who don't want to learn, you just want to show off and we're not down with that!!!" but wait there's more, the reply was "i am talkin about the block dumbass, i havent touched the internals, such as pistons/rods/crank etc. etc. i am a member of both dsmtuners and 2gnt, i think i know where to go for advice, not u dumbass who know nothing about dsm's" We have a fun little thread, 263 pages worth, and no you can't see it now even if it IS just the head, that's not internals??? |

Re: DSM guys, come in here please
Nice car...NOT.
But anyway when I hear people say they are "doing internals" they are almost always referring to the block, not the head. Sounds just like another famous internet super-hero to me. Maybe the 8k includes the cost of the car? The cost of his sweet underglow kit? The cost of his hair gel and frosted tips? 6 inch tailpipe? 31 15"s in the hatch? 747 wing on the back? I'd like a link but then I know after reading it I would just want to shoot myself.

Re: DSM guys, come in here please
fine, it's like a kid's forum and we've got one of the only car threads
http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/view...94796&page=255 don't say I never gave you nothin...i have fox ears, If you'll see, I tried to save the day and stop the flamers, and then he just flamed all of us, it's like a misadventure, one's a mustang lover, one's from australia, our ricer leader was gone for the day, and i, you guessed it, know next to nothing. Enjoy and I KNOW what I did now, I confused porting with boring the block. once again sorry |

Re: DSM guys, come in here please
lol, I didnt know mitsu made a mls head gasket for a 420a, I think usually head work is considered internals, at least I consider it to be since it is inside of the motor kind of
