Check these cams out DKS(HKS)

This company claims to make a mirror image of the HKS cams. They call them DKS cams. They have both combinations that HKS offers. They also offer a 1 year warranty. Here is the link http://www.ffwdconnection.com/cams.shtml (only 350 a pair)

Re: Check these cams out DKS(HKS)

I just noticed this site was in the FAQ thread(under VENDORS/general) so, I am guessing they are somewhat trustworthy.

Re: Check these cams out DKS(HKS)

I dont know, buy them and tell us . With a one year warrantee I might try it out, depends on what I can dig up. Sounds kinda fishy to me, I dont think there is anything legal about that though.

Re: Check these cams out DKS(HKS)

Basicly ripped HKS off... Comp 2 cams Intake & Exhasut lift is .411" .395" which are slightly more aggressive then HKS 272 .4055" .3858".

Comp2 and FP2 are the same cams. Comps/zex are cheaper and available on ebay for $365 + shipping of best offer...

Re: Check these cams out DKS(HKS)

They are regrinds. Not brand new. What happens is, a cam lobe wears down after normal milage. These guys get the old worn out cams and regrind them. They add metal to the lobes then cut it to the right duration.

I'd rather just order a set from HKS and know that they arent going to come apart in my head than save $100.
