All but one
Has anyone ever noticed that the manufacturers make all the Lexus/Toyota 1/24 models except for the ES/Windom? They do have the LS/Celsior; GS/Aristo; SC/Soarer; IS/Altezza...
Why did they not come up with the Windom? That would have been a great kit to build. Or can it be built from scratch? I wonder if it's possible? |

Re: All but one
Manufacturers make kits they think will sell.

Yea..Aoshima is due to make that kit. I mean..it should be made. The front end looks like a fish to me.

Re: All but one
So Aoshima is gonna make the three generations of Windom? I guess you could modify a Celsior to look like a Windom; they pretty much don't look that different if you look closely at them (at least the 1st Generation, the UCF11 Celsior, and the VCV10 Windom)...

Re: All but one
Probably cause it's FWD and not really sporty. If they make one they might as well make a Camry or Corolla

Re: All but one
The Windom is the right hand drive version of the Lexus ES, which is nothing but an upscale Camry.
I don't think the geezer pleasers like the ES and Windom are going to be more selling than say, Ferrari or Porsche. The Lexus that shared the chassis with the Supra were the GS and SC, but the Supra is discontinued, so the current GS and SC are probably using a slightly more advanced chassis than the Supra. |
