PLEASE HELP! Galant is struggeling when accelerating

First time poster, and I need some help. I have owned my 1999 Mitsubishi Galant for about 4 years now and it has been great. It has 75,000 and is maintained well. Over the past week, I have noticed that after I initially start the car and during the acceleration process, between the first jump to 2 gear and sometimes to 3 gear, the car will sounds and feels like it wants to die but it never has, then it just keeps going and is fine. After I have driven for 5 minutes or so, the car is fine from then on. I know it'll probably die eventually if I don't get it looked at. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks!

Need to replace Spark plugs and connecting plug wires. This will fix!
