waiting on weather to start

yeah the 350 hasnt been touch because it was to freaking cold out ( like below 0)and then we had something last weekend to do so if it is nice out this weekend we will start. And i was thinking what kind of heads do i need to bolt up to the 73 block to my 89tpi? i just got thinking and didnt they change something after 86 that wouldnt let it bolt up or something or another to the older blocks?

the block is a small block chevy, they're all identical, they bolt up to anything, pretty much universal, it will all bolt up just fine... until the ls1, all small blocks were interchangable

You ain't lying about the weather being too cold. I have had all my stuff for about 3 weeks now and i can barely find the time to get any of it on the car. I try my best to get stuff accomplished on the weekends, but it's been too damn cold out the past couple of weeks. Been taking forever to get this B&M Megashifter in the car, almost done now. When it's cold, it's hard to think correctly, all i'm thinking about is getting warm.

i think he's getting after are the bolt angles different for the inatkes, yes I beleive they are.

Biggest difference is after 86 they changed to a 1 piece rear main seal instead of a 2 piece.

yeah i mean what heads can i get that will mount to both without any drilling. oh wait any heads that is for a 350 should mount up to just about any 350 that is not ls-based motor right? i just got to find some that will fit the tpi right?

Thats not fair. Been having alot of Artic temps here. In about 5 mins, exposed skin will be frost bitten, yeesh!!!

Hmm, wait a sec. acording to NWS, it's 58* there in Casey,, that's 24 over Chicago (34, which still ain't too bad.) , I'd be playing hooky and getting done what i could. in shorts bTW.
