Found the T/A's problem...

Here we go again...

Ready for the new (shorter) pushrods tomorrow!!

Yup...pushrods were too long keeping the valves open just enough to throw everything off.
New ones are being delivered tomorrow...if this was actually the problem, a GOOD sound clip tomorrow late.

Anyone need some stock length hardened LS1 pushrods???

Re: Found the T/A's problem...

Everything should be fine.
I have plenty of piston to valve clearance...otherwise I might have had some problems.

Pushrods too long. I did some extra research and found that my new lifters are slightly taller than the stockers...which in turn require shorter pushrods.
They are showing up tomorrow!!!!

Re: Found the T/A's problem...

I will switch to synthetic after about 3000 miles.
I first changed the oil after 10 minutes.

Nope. They are right from the factory.
But I needed shorter pushrods than the stockers because of a couple reasons.

This was all on me.
