what the hell was he doing?: vr4 vs wrx
on the freeway coming back from moving my stuff back to my parents house for a month, i see a wrxf with exhaust in the far left lane.
i have my 230lb brother in the car with me and we head over a couple lanes to see if he wants to run once i got next to him he starts moving but it doesnt look very fast so i'm thinking he's just slowly speeding up. so i do the same and get directly next to him. i see him downshift getting ready to get in his good gear he then slows down to a speed i'm assuming is best fit for h im in his powerband. though it was horrible in my band i still went for it i always like to let the other guy get the first jump but this guy isnt going for it. so the hell with it, i hit the gas at around 3500rpms and i see him following, but it doesnt seem like he's punching it i put about 5 cars on him from 50 to 110 and shut down i'm thinking to myself the guy must not wanted to race afterall, but to my suprise, he pulls up next to me and gives me a thumbs up  was he really racing me and hes just that slow? or am i that fast? i still have no clue what exactly happen but atleast he was cool

maby he wasnt racing, but just gave you a thumbs up for your car. Maby hes so fast he didnt feel like it but wanted to give you props anyway?
 Maby he wanted sex?

Good kill. A run of the mill WRX isn't anywhere near as fast as your VR4. They usually run a 14.4 sec. 1/4 mile at 94-95mph. I mean your car has 70+ horsepower over him. From a roll WRX's really are nothing to be feared, as an RSX Type S can essentially run or beat one. Great for getting out of the gate though.

Yeah, at those speed he's no match even with exhaust.
I think he just wanted to see how fast your car was.

He probably just wanted to see you run it. I give people thumbs up sometimes when I'm not racing. Maybe I shouldn't though being that it could be taken to mean something else.....
