Ticking noise, front tire.
I keep hearing this ticking noise comming from my front left tire, sounds like a baseball card in a bike tire, think this might be the bearings?

Re: Ticking noise, front tire.
nothing in treads, guess your saying it cant be the bearings? Also i can kick that same tire and theres a decent amount of movement, kinda scares me, or when i hit a bump it jolts like s**t.

Re: Ticking noise, front tire.
If you have a decent amount of movement with the tire on the ground, I'd say yeah, you need to replace the front wheel bearings...I'd do it on both sides just to be safe. Best way to tell is to jack the front end of the car up with the wheels off the ground and grab the wheel at 12 and 6 o'clock and try to move the wheel...if it moves a good bit, replace the bearings...
