Help buying a prelude

Im thinking about buying a Prelude any where from 96 to 2002 and was wondering what a good year\model would be. I will be modding it and want to get the most out of it without Going forced induction. What are or where can i find performance specs on the diffrent models ie vtec si and is there a type r. Right now im in a 90 integra ls i was going to try and mod the crap out of it but i couldnt get where i wanted without spending at least 20000 so i decide to go prelude cause i test drove a 2001 vetc and it handled way to good for stock for me not to notice.
Ive also heard that certain models have atts and some have 4ws and that that limits how much you can do with the engine.



-remember z24 is a perfomance upgrade so it hurts them more when you still beat them.
