|
speedomoeter stopped, tranny acts funny
out and about today my spedometer stopped working, my rpm and gas gauge are fine, but it doesn't wanna shift gears...I barely made it home riding in first gear. i have a 2000 stratus es... anyone else heard of this?

Input sensor or output sensor on the trans is bad. SES light on? This is a DIY if you are some what mechaniclly inclined the sensors take a deep 1" socket. Replace both sensors.

That was exactly the problem, we went got the parts, and extra tools and had it fixed in about an hour!!! It's running great now!!! Thanks so much!!!
