97 lumina help
hey all,
recently put in a motor in a 97 lumina, everything went in well and when i started the engine there was coolant coming out near the back of the motor. i guess this is a common thing but i dont remember what it is that i have to replace or fix. If any one knows could you help a fella out??? thank you all in advance for any help that you would be able to give me |

Short on more definitve info, where, intake, freeze plug, coolant hose, you are the one on site looking at it.

sorry its the 3.1liter and i am not sure where it is really leaking from just the rear of the engineon the pass. side thats about all the info i can give for now

the only thing in that area where coolant would come from is the heater core drain tube, all other hoses and pipes run across the front or drivers side.

rear is most likely a heater hose. I would also check the thermostat and water pump to make sure the coolant is simply traveling down the exterior of the engine.
