Re: Possible to swap seat backs?
The frame for the back will not swap over because of the tilt release and pivot points. However, the foam in the back is the same for both sides.
The back foam in my drivers seat was broken down to where it was uncomfortable to sit in, so I went to the junk yard an yanked the foam out of a passenger side seat and later swapped it for my driverside foam. I should also mention that I am a professional upholsterer so I am familiar with how a seat is put together. Someone with no upholstery experience will have some difficulty doing this. Yes I have a 1G, but I have '90 SI seats in it. |

No, but I'll be happy to tell you how to do it if you want to give it a try.

Re: Possible to swap seat backs?
Oh boy...been a long time since I posted here...hope everyone is doing well. I probably need to update my sig too....
Just about every Civic seat is different from its stablemate. I have a 91 Civic and I put 91 Integra seats in it with a few mods to the seat rails. But as a general rule, seats are not interchangeable, as already noted.
