1997 Dodge Grand Caravan Oil Warning light
The oil warning light and chime starting coming on a few days ago. Oil has been changed and level is OK. Light does not come on when car is in reverse or when I take my foot of the gas.
Any suggestions? |

Re: 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan Oil Warning light
According to Haynes, when the oil pressure light comes on, the order of things to check are:
1. Low oil level (you already checked) 2. Short in wiring circuit 3. Faulty oil pressure sender 4. Worn engine bearings/oil pump Hope it's 2 or 3. Hope this helps! |
