Angry 1995 bonneville wont start

I have a 1995 bonne with only 51000 miles on it and it wont start. I changed the fuel pump and it still wont start. When i press on the brake the the dask board lights come on. The car will start sometimes for about 6 seconds and the shut right off. Can any body help me?

What about fuel filter or fuel booster, youll have to measure the fuel pressure to see if your getting fuel to the rail.any leaks in fuel lines.

Re: 1995 bonneville wont start

I had the same problem, and it turns out that there are two positive battery cables on this car. One goes to the starter, and the other has a wire from the back of the alternator.... this wire attaches to the other battery cable and provides electricity to the fuse bank on the firewall underneath the black plastic cover that says FUSE BANK or something like that. If you have corrosion on the battery cables down at the battery, get a pepsi or a coke and a wire brush and clean off the corrosion. That seemed to get rid of the problem for me.
