Oil Change Warning
I recently took my '94 Le Sabre to a Jiffy Lube for an oil change. The mechanic did not reset my "Due for an oil change" warning light after changing the oil.
Can someone tell me how I can reset that warning light? It stays on for about the first minute or two of starting up the car. I find it annoying. Also, does anyone have an opinion about the high mileage oil, Jiffylube always insist you use, if your car has over 70K on the clock? |

My 97 has the reset in the glove box. I hold the button down for 5 seconds. Your 94 may be different. Check your owners manual. I use Havoline 5w30 and have 109,000+ miles with 3,000 mile changes. I don't think much about the "higher miles" oils. These engines are built well and will run 200,000 + with regular manintence. Regards Dan

Re: Oil Change Warning
Thank you. It worked as you said it would. I had never noticed that button there before.
Thanks again. |
