buy a turbo, but be prepaired for maintenance and oil changes at less than 3,000 miles each time

get ls/vtec! it shoud be cheaper than a turbo kit and wont wear your engine. plus u will have vtec and higher revs.

I have the Superstreet issue with the LS/VTEC build up. They get like 192bhp at the wheels, but, they built the engine(pistons, rods, cams, crank). If you don't do that kind of build, you have to treat it like an LS with its 7000rpm redline.

how much do you think an ls/vtec swap would cost?? if you didn't have the ls block already? and you needed everything?

This is how much I spent so far...
91 LS block $300 ITR pistons w/rings $200 CTR cams $700 Skunk2 cam gears $150 ITR valve springs/retainers/valveguides $200 (i think) vtec oil line $90 GSR head $550 Vtec distributor $200 Vtec wires $250 Skunk2 intake manifold $290 BBK 70mm throttlebody $325 Port & polish/headwork $350 JDM 4-1 header $375 Exedy clutch $275 Clutchmasters lightened flywheel $290 AEM CAI $200 Running total: $4745.00 plus shipping charges for some of the items : ?? Stuff I havent paid because engine's still being built: Machine shop/crank balance/rods shot peening ? arp bolts/bearings ? Total labor charges for assembly ? This badass motor should be done by end of this month...its been in the shop for 2 months now and my mechanics' taking his lazy ass time...But it's all good, I hope to be rewarded for the wait...And I hope it passes smog too, hahaha...
