PLEASE HELP. How do i get the stock radio out?
i have a 1991 nissan skyline gt 2.5L and i have no idea how to get the stock radio out! i want to put my new one in and as much as i have tried i cannot seem to move the old radio!!
please anyone who knows what to do would be greatly appreciated!! |

There are 4 screws holding the surround in place, you can get at by removing the ashtray, the other 2 are if I remember right accessible by looking up from by the shift lever. You need to remove those 4, also remove the gear lever surround (prise it up from the front end) then prise off the surround from the top down. Radio screws should be accessible after the surround is off.
If you have auto air con, watch out for the air tube that attaches at the bottom right of the surround. It can be pulled off by hand, but remember to put it back.
