car is dying
ok I posted a thread on here with the subject ECU code 10...don't listen to any of that. I went and looked at my friends car...it's throwing a 3 code and 20 code. We went and drove it around the block and while driving it, it all of a sudden just died. Another thing is when you turn the turn signals on sometimes they will work normal and sometimes they will flash hella quick and than back to normal. So what's the deal here, why does it just die and why do the turn signals do this???

the signals flashing quickly might mean you have a loose wire in one of the signals. when one isnt working, the other will pulse very quickly.

Yeah if the power isnt distributed evenly between the signals (I.E. one is disconnected) then it will put more power to one and make it flash faster.

or your light bulb is just out. thats what happened to my friends civic but basicly the same as what them said above

never think 1 problem is related to the other cars dont brake 1 part at a time need more info on the car dieing . does it start back up does it only die when hot cold or just not in the mood?

Code #3 is for the MAP sensor, code 20 is for the O2 sensor.
If it's randomly dying you probably have a bad MAP sensor or a vacuum leak to the sensor. A faulty O2 sensor will usually just send the ECU into limp mode, but it will still run. |

Yeah if you lose vaccum to the MAP, itll die with the quickness....or if its just bad.
