To me they are

I always like the garage pics. Dunno why, but I just do. Makes them seem more within reach, I think.

Hopefully my garage will look that way after I win powerball tomorrow. Except with a few more old muscle cars.

Yeah, I also like garage pics; especially Meltzer's garage. Nice find monster.

More pics of the garage here.

Man, I didn't know he had that many nice cars. That's the dream garage right there. Nice find!

he has a lot more nice cars then shown also. You can barely see his f40, i dont see the f50 there. Also yesterday he had a carrera gt outfront. The m3 is a real evo e30 m3...and his daily driver is a dinan m5, the z8 is supposed to be the first one in the US. I swear mr. meltzer and I must share the same mind.

Yes, it's an EVO. 100% authentic.

Last I heard, he was building a large residence in Pebble Beach, which is down the California coast a little bit from Los Gatos. I wouldn't be surprised if the cars move there eventually.

Most of the time, the only exercise these cars get is when the valet or mechanic takes them to get filled up at the Chevron station down the street. Bit sad.

Really? That didn't appear to be the case on the episode of "Automaniac" featuring his cars. Meltzer’s demeanor on the show led me to believe that it wasn’t the first track event he had hosted. Then again, I’m just speculating. In any case, we can’t deny that he has great taste in cars.

Re: A couple of pics of Cliff Meltzer's cars 028

Out of 50+ cars, 3 or 4 get to see a track once every couple of years. On that day, they do maybe 10-20 laps each. I have been to a few of these private track events. There's a lot of food, a lot of talk, and a lot of picture taking.

Re: Taste in cars, I think it's so-so. There are some gems in the garage, but the majority are just regular expensive fast cars. The only noteworthy cars are the BMW, the Challenge Stradale, Enzo, F40, 288 GTO and the McLaren. The rest are just "nice" cars (fast and expensive too, no doubt), but not gems like the McLaren or the Enzo or the 288 GTO.

There's another collection in Sausalito, called the Mallya collection. Now *that's* a collection! Look it up online.

It's missing the wing for some reason. From the pic it's impossible to know if it's genuine. Not doubting anything just pointing it out.

I'm doubting it a little. They also weren't made in white. I only know of 1, MAYBE 2 in the US and this is the 1st i've heard of him owning one, heck, its the 1st i've heard of being in CA

Re: A couple of pics of Cliff Meltzer's cars 028

of course i cant confirm 100% that it is a evo but ive seen it and wondered about it and now two different sources have confirmed it. I have seen the car with its wing before and also the motorsports stickers. It even once passed me going the opposite way on a back mountain road near cliffs house.
