|
very high idle after clean up TB !!
Well I take out my TB and clean it up, then I spay alot of cleaner in the manifor, and then I accident broke the tb gasket, this morning I got the gasket and put it on , every thing was fine, but it a bitch to try to start the car, it take couple try , but after it start my rmp go up too 2.5k then it continue go up ( look like i step on the gas pedal ) but I dont step on the gas pedal, how do I fix this ? please I need this car to run to go to work, IM LATE !!

Try adjusting the idle. Also when you sprayed it into the intake manifold, that's probably causing some of the high idle too, but only for a couple seconds that should last.

Are you sure you put the gasket in correctly and it was nice and tight? Give it a few good revs to get rid of the cleaner, and make sure all your sensors are plugged in good. Do you get a CEL?
