OMG! Civic Si SEDAN?!

For those of you cannot read or understand Japanese: http://automobiles.honda.com/civic_si_sedan/index.aspx They are displaying it at Chicago Autoshow. What in the world are those folks at Honda thinking? Trying to challenge the RSX's existance? Trying to compete with Corolla XRS and Sentra SE-R?

interesting to see how it'll sell. can't wait till i have to dodge all the kids in their civic si sedans now when i'm driving around. on the plus side, it looks better than the coupe. i'd just take the tranny from the new si and stick it on an rsx-s.

I don't know....for the price of a brand new Civic Si coupe, you can get a used TSX. I love the Civic. I've driven a 93' Coupe, 89 Si, 99 Si-R, and now have an EP3.
At this point, I don't think I'd shell out that money for a Civic when I can get a TSX. At least the TSX won't look like a Saturn Ion......hehehehe.....low blow.
