Help, my 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo quit and won't start again.

Please help!!
I have a 95 Grand Cherokee Loredo. My family and I were backing out of our driveway when my wife noticed my son had left his window open. I pulled back into the driveway for him to go close it. when I got back into the driveway the engine quit like I had turned off the key. When I tried to start it again it would only turn over rapidly but is like there is an absence of fuel or spark. I read somewhere that you could extract the diagnostic code by turning the key on and off 5 times and the check engine light should flash the code. When I tried it the O/D light flashed off a code of 655. What am I looking at here?

After doing more research and more testing I was able to extract a consistent code of 1555. I found that that indicates a problem in the vehicle speed sensor circuit. Does anyone have a recommendation as to what to do for this? Would it be the speed sensor itself or is there something else I should check first?
