Post 400 BHP 944 turbo

I just bought a 1991 944 turbo that has undergone a Level 4 conversion
(no engine mods) Its currently boosting at 320 bhp and can produce 400bhp. There is a manual button to turn up the boost however i am unsure whether i can go up without blowing the engine? will i need to undergo engine mods? and I would prefer an electrical boost controller. Any suggestions?

Mods carried out include;
2 new chips, duel port waste gate, Air Maf, kn filter, platinum tip plugs, bigger injectors which have been reprogrammed and calibrated, dialer booster, 3 bar fuel pressure regulator, metal dump valve and any necessary hardware ti fix it all in. I hope this is sufficient information

Re: 944 turbo

Well we need a few more details on your level 4 conversion includes. I have seen lots of 944 turbos making that kind of power with stock internals. However 951's are not cheap to fix, so if I were you I wouldn’t chance it and just take it to a GOOD shop.

Re: 944 turbo

Hello
I have a huge problem/question please help someone!
I have a 1986 944 turbo and I need front clip possible not able to be repaired per the body shop. Ok I bought a 84 944 non turbo, what would I have to do to swap that engine from the 944 turbo to the 84 non turbo car. And is it a very tough project to do. If some one can please help.
thanks

Your post was hard to read. But yes you can swap the motor. Its not Suppose to be that hard. You need to swap the ECU and wire harness too.
