Finished: Tamiya Porsche 936-78

Here's one I recently finished up. It's a very simplified Tamiya kit from their motorized model (toy's) days. The kit came out okay. I had a little problem getting the decals to lay over the front fenders smoothly and had to cut a couple slits on the edges which don't look very good now.

It's built out of the box with the exception of the antenna which is from the parts box.

Hi Eric,

a simple kit can look very good when well executed.
Nice job on this one, shouldn´t the antenna be thinner?

The kit shows its age in lack of detail but your build gives it a good clean look so no problems. Looks great so its a keeper!

Thanks everyone....

Yeah, the antenna should be thinner. I had planned to use a piece of guitar string and then when I was searching through some extra parts I found this one and glued it on. It was all chrome and looked thinner before it was mounted and painted sliver. After I took the pictures I realized how thick it looks. It'll get changed.....

I´d just use a piece of wire, if you need a thicker end on its top, dip the wire in some glue.
