i was looking into getting some new spark plugs and wires for my 98 trans am
i heard NGK 55" are one of the best spark plugs... correct me if i'm wrong and what would be the best wires to buy?? ..i saw some good racing wires on granatellimotosports.com that supposibly gave an up to 12 hp gain.. so what are the best plugs and wires to get? lol and second does anyone have any advice or instructions on changing the wires and plugs..i was looking at them today..and it looks like it is going to be a pain... thanks for your help |

Wires on the LS1 are NOT going to gain you any power. They are too short to matter.
Stock wires are fine unless there is a problem with one. Plugs...NGK TR55's gapped at .054" Remove coil packs to have a little more room to get at the plugs. Some even remove the passenger side valve cover.

yea i must of read something else..it says that the hi performance wires will
•Increase power to the spark plug up to 400% over stock •Improves mileage and throttle response also are the ngk iridium tr55's spark plugs worth the money over the regular ngk tr55's?? thanks for your help |

i wouldnt bother with the extra money .. unless you just like to feel good about it..
