Exclamation Spark Plugs and wires for LS1

i was looking into getting some new spark plugs and wires for my 98 trans am
i heard NGK 55" are one of the best spark plugs... correct me if i'm wrong
and what would be the best wires to buy??
..i saw some good racing wires on granatellimotosports.com that supposibly gave an up to 12 hp gain..

so what are the best plugs and wires to get? lol

and second does anyone have any advice or instructions on changing the wires and plugs..i was looking at them today..and it looks like it is going to be a pain...

Re: Spark Plugs and wires for LS1

Wires on the LS1 are NOT going to gain you any power. They are too short to matter.
Stock wires are fine unless there is a problem with one.

Plugs...NGK TR55's gapped at .054"

Remove coil packs to have a little more room to get at the plugs. Some even remove the passenger side valve cover.

Re: Spark Plugs and wires for LS1

yea i must of read something else..it says that the hi performance wires will
•Increase power to the spark plug up to 400% over stock
•Improves mileage and throttle response
also are the ngk iridium tr55's spark plugs worth the money over the regular ngk tr55's??
thanks for your help

I don't think so.
Just have to swap the plugs every 15,000 instead of every 30,000.
Not worth it considering they are 3-4 times the price.

Don't always believe everything you read. As long as your wires are good, don't waste your money.
