Completed: Porsche 928GT

I finally finished a model after a 3 month break.

This is the Fujimi 928GT. The kit is not the greatest, but it turns out a decent result with some patience. All of the panel lines were very shallow, and I had to rescribe them all. The front and rear bumper fit was pretty poor as well. The ride height was off, and I had to lower it as much as possible. I will have to scratch some sideview mirror inserts and BMF them as none came in the kit.

I painted this with Cobra Colors Porshe Meridian Metallic. Its a silvery metallic with a rose tint. It's adds a classy look to this sports car. The interior is painted tan and black.

Here's some pics:

I like your model it looks really good. The colour you have chosen really compliments it well. Are they the standard wheels that are provided with the kit? I always wanted to build the 928 but never got round to it,but you have done it justice, keep up the good work.Steve.

Solid work again!
The 928 always was my favourite Porsche. Much nicer than the 911.

Wow, that's a really nice build. Your paint work is amazing as always, and even the panel lines look good to me. Fantastic work.

That's a nice, tasteful color choice for that car. Excellent build.

Re: Completed: Porsche 928GT

Looks good Matt. What is the deal with the roof, looks like some panel lines or a sunroof or something?

There is a sunroof on this car. On most pics I have of this car the sunroof is hard to see unless it is open. The panel line isn't as pronounced as the others, so I decided not to use my panel line pen on it.

Thanks guys.
