change as you go straight flow pipe

is it possible to put a valve in the muffler so you can switch between a straight flow, and a muffled flow? i would like to do this in the muffler itself, so that it isn't very noticeable...

Anything is possible if you have enough money. Is it practical, probably not.

They work good on controlling backpressure.
They had them things when I was a kid 50 years ago.
But the down fall is they may not be legal.
But you can always tell the judge you were just relieving your back pressure.
