problem with headlights and blinker
I'm wondering if someone can help me with this little problem I've been having lately with my '89 CRX Si. Occasionally, when I'm driving at night with my headlights on and I hit the blinker stalk to signal a left turn, my headlights will cut out. They don't usually turn on again unless I manually turn the headlights off and on once or twice. Its not turning off all of my lights, because the signal and corner lights stay on, but just the headlights are turning off.
I'm pretty sure this is a wiring problem, but I don't know where to look to find it. Its a real inconvenience to have to turn my lights off and on after making a left turn. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Any ideas or tips on how to remedy this? Thanks, Nathan |

Re: problem with headlights and blinker
I'm having the same problem, only with my car, the use of my headlights has completly ceased, so now i have to run my highbeams at night.. weird.
I'm thinking its a worn out contact in the steering coulmn, im going to look at it in the next week or so |
