God damn that's a good deal. Do they have one for a Greddy flange, or can you fit a Greddy on the 1g bov flange? I would REALLY consider this if they have one for a Greddy flange.

I'm totally in!! Thats so damn cheap!! Whats that second piping kit? Is that a 1g kit? I've got that same bov on my talon, it the exact same as the tial one. It even has a tial spring inside who knows it's probably made by tial they just etch tial in and charge $50,000 for it.

That is one hell of a deal and I'm in the market for a FMIC too.... I can't bring myself to do it though because of the vendor. It's a personal thing. Let me know how those kits work out though.

Re: 2g FMIC Group Buy.... $295 Shipped!!!

I really want to do this, but I'm gonna be on the t25 for a while. I just think this big of an IC wouldn't help out any, or maybe even decrease performance unless one of you guys say different lol. I'm also not that happy that a bunch of stuff has to be cut/relocated, and that I would have to drill new holes in the 1g flange.

Damnit, if I didn't have to buy those new rotors last week, I'd have money for this right now! ARGH

Re: 2g FMIC Group Buy.... $295 Shipped!!!

You would benifit going from a smic to this fmic. It's not huge. It is big, but your knock counts will decrease becasue your charged air will be significantly cooler. And you'll beable to run more then 3 times at the track without having to shut down for a half an hour.

You will have to do some cutting on the bumper for the bends to fit onto the intercooler, and you will need to relocate your overflow tank. Big deal. You can just buy a 1g bov from one of us or online for $20..

Re: 2g FMIC Group Buy.... $295 Shipped!!!

Just a question...

I know everyone hates SSAUTOCHROME....and for good reason. They sell crappy shit that breaks and dosn't hold up. So why is everyone doing business with them still? There are so many threads and articles online that complain about this company and their shoddy parts and service. I know it's really cheap and some pipes and an FMIC are not to hard to screw up, but it's just helping them out as a business. The object is to boycott business that fuck people over, not group buy from them.

I got no beef with them. I would like to see what the intercooler looks like from inside its inlets. But what can you do.

Re: 2g FMIC Group Buy.... $295 Shipped!!!

I've actually never read anything definitively bad about ssautochrome... I know a lot of ppl turn their noses up at "eBay" products, but there are a lot of ppl over at the DSMtuners classifieds that say they've actually bought and used these ic's and are happy with them. That's the only opinion (besides my own) I would credit... not someone that "thinks" the products are cheap/shoddy just because they don't have a Greedy or HK$ logo. My 2 cents.

But if we're talking about turbos, I guess that would be a different story... I wouldn't buy a turbo from anyone other than a very established company.
