removing top grill of 98 civic

I took the whole bumper off because i am replacing the grills, but how do u remove the section where the front embem is? I have removed all screws in sight. thanks

i don't think u can remove that part i also put the grill on mines i only put it on the bottom part not behind the H sign and i couldn't get that black thing out it's not screwed in but it's with the bumper i don't think it's removeable unless u break it off.......

they tell you how, i did it on my 98 hatch and it looks clean. if you want, you can put a grill on top of it and it still looks sweet (trust me)

Not completely sure, but I think you should find a '96 grille. I think they are still 2 parts, while the later years have a 1 part grille...
