What is the BEST Exhaust for a 3.8L V6?

At first i was planning on getting Magnaflows but some people have told me they dont sound that great on V6's compared to Flowmasters..I cant make up my mind. For a V6 which exhaust will give the best performance and the nicest sound?

I just want to know which exhaust (magnaflow or flowmaster) will give me the best performance and sound. Thank you guys!

MAGNAFLOW!!! flowmaster sounds like poop on a v6. my dad put a flowmaster on his v6 camaro when he had it and it sounded like crap. go with magnaflow, you will get more hp with them also.

Well depends what you wan't more. If you think Flowmaster will sound better, then you'll be sacrificing potential HP by getting a restrictive exhaust system. Though I've got Borla, I always recommend Magnaflow. Reason being is because I got lucky on eBay and only paid $555 for my kit. And seeing as in how it retails around $800, most people wouldn't want to pay that. So, again, I always recommend magnaflow. I've actually heard magnaflows and Flowmasters on 3.8's before. The only thing that Flowmaster sounds better at is during idle, it has a more aggressive tone. But magnaflow sounds a whole heck of alot better once you get on it, and flows 20x better. If you try doing a search on the forum then you'll find at least 20 recent threads on exhaust kits and why which one is better then the others.
