Re: turbo

i just got done doing a turbo project on a D15B2 and i have had 3 motors blow up and one turbo blow up only run like 5lbs of boost though if you are gonna run it like that i have hit 15 lbs and its not worth it on stock internals i didnt have stock anything and blew it up. so i am warning u now it gets expensive when u turbo a car. is the car a dual point fuel injection or no?

Thumbs up Re: turbo

yea im still running the dpfi and i have hit 15 lbs on a small subaru IHI turbo off of a turbo wagon. it pretty quick for only having 2 injectors lol i still dont get that crap but ok. umm all i can say about the mpfi conversion is i have heard it can be a pain in the butt other than that if u are gonna run it on that go for it man... it should do good. i am doing about 10 lbs all the time with no fuel computer of any sort no chip in the ecu or anything the only thing that i did was put a small boost controller in it to contorl it obviosly. just do it right thats all i can say. and dont hit too much boost like me!

Re: turbo

just keep the boost down i wouldnt run more than 7 psi to be safe unlike me i obviosly dont care about my motor that much and i run more only because i have access to another one if i need it right away.
