Alarm Issues

Hi

My wife hadn't used her car for a while, so the battery went flat. I took the battery out and charged it, as I have done before. However, this time the alarm reset itself when the battery was reconnected but won't disable with the remote fob. (two buttons, 1 black 1 red) Changed the battery on the fob, but nothing. Alarm and immobiliser is set and will not switch off.

Can anyone help?? Not been able to use the rav for 3 days now

We have a very similar problem. had you fixed it already? Please give me a hint on how to reset my alarm too.
