transmission question HELP 2003 zx2
I was changing my trans filter and oil and I removed a bolt [plug] on the bottom of what I think is the trans pump just above the pan. A spring and piston fell out. The piston has 4 holes on the side of the piston near one end and one hole on the bottom of the other end. Can someone tell me which way it goes in. Thank You

Re: transmission question HELP 2003 zx2
I found out. My buddy owns a shop and he called some transmission people and they said it is a servo and the side with the 4 holes goes in first. It is also tapered near the top by the 4 holes and they said the smaller end goes in 1st which would be the tapered end. Thanks
