Re: Lamborghini Miura Racing GT-5 1:20 Help needed
That's a new one for me. As far as I've been able to tell, Lamborghini never raced the Miura (or anything else in that era), so this must be a private team. I doubt you'll be able to find much in the way of detailing references on it.
Great looking scheme and aero package on it.

I have several kits in this series, and some have puzzled me too, like the racing Countach. My guess is they are "phantom racers"... - Mark

That car is new to me too. I thought the Miura was never raced.

Re: Lamborghini Miura Racing GT-5 1:20 Help needed
I think that this car took part in one race only:
Year 2253, Titanium era of the parallel univers number 7. The driver of this car, Dr. Zoidberg, raced against the Millenium Falcon, The Enterprise and the Batmobile around the rings of planet Jupiter. Arrived second after Batman because the Enterprise used illegal plasma engine and it's firs place was erased. Chubecca, the Millenium Falcon driver, had to stop the ship in lap 14th because was hit by a terrible flea attack. After the race Dr. Zoidberg said: "I had the chance to arrive first but i had a big problem with the steering wheel as i cut it in the second lap. But the car is very fast and light because we could take off the roll bar as i do not need none. Batman was lucky but i'll win the next race, the famous 500 thousand miles of Moonopolis". Unfortunately the car was stolen two days later by the Beagle Boys that used it to steal the dollars of uncle Scrooge, but this is another story... The kit belongs to the Fujimi's Fantasy series.... |
