My personal preference, I'd go with the lude.

yah, me too. lude is the way da go. if you wanna drag race, go with a TypeR or the new RSX. gets you into the traps in the 14sec area with no mods probably. to me, overall responsive driving is what FUN is all about...

cougar?!

subs and exhaust

Vtec.. i think i might have the sub you got.. its the 12" alum. Eclipse.. and i got it running off the JL 500/1.. in a custom ported box.. the thing bumps so loud... like a 15.. or 2 12"s..

What exhaust is the best for the H22A1. i like the reviews on the Tanabe Racing Medallion... or Hks super dragger

I'd go with the lude...This part of the board may be preferential though...Hey i've heard of some stock ludes hitting high 14s. Although i'm sure they had good conditions at the track

Go with the new RSX-Type S if you can . There pretty damn sweet and with those your looking at running low 6sec 0-60 and around 14.7 in the 1/4 mile . Not to mention the seats inside of them are pretty damn sweet . Also my friend test drove one today and he said tha damn thing WILL get up an GO . But it's all personal taste b/c at one time about a yr ago i wanted a Lude . I wanted the silvery/blueish 5spd lude until I wanted more speed and I figured that with the money that I would have to fork out to make it look the way I wanted it to look and to be as fast as I wanted it to be it would take alot of money . But now i'm very happy with my baby (01 CL Type-S ) . The civic sounds pretty nice too, there's ton's of aftermarket products for that car so that might be one to consider too . Oh yeah the Gs-R would be pretty damn nice too . Well I'm out so peace

Well here is the thing.. the rsx has a beautiful engine design with some high hp outputs and a 6 speed tranny.. but as far as looks its so so and forgot modding that thing yourself that engine bay is extremely cramped! the gs-r is another good prospect, although the lude can take it stock, it is extremely light and if you turbocharge it expect it to throw up some good numbers, and it has some room in the hood too.. the lude though is still my favority, im a big fan of torque and frankly its the only car with any.. plus its just overall nice with its atts (some people dont like it though) and things like that, put a nice turbo on there and your set...

Sucks to hear that you're getting rid of your cougar?!

Anyways, if you're shooting for a new car, I'd say go for the new WRX if it's in your price range. You should be hitting at least 14.5 stock.

...well um... I just couldn't really wait and I dont think my rents wanted me to pay 4 more grand for the IS300 . I'm VERY happy with what i got it's pretty fast and hopefully by spring/ summertime i'll have the comptech headers which run for about a grand . I'll definitly have my Aem cai by october and i'll be saving up for some rims and dvd . Oh i would have all this stuff much sooner but it's the car payments that are slowing me down
