Just Got my First Revell kit

The New mini Cooper.. and.. now I know why I pay more for Tamiya model... The quality and detail of this model is horrible !

Its a bit of a shame that Revell still cant match Tamiya...but they are getting better beleive it or not

the worst revell model is a tow truck that I dont remenber the name
but your mini is from revell germany
revell america is better :licker:

I can't agree more, recently got a Revell B-194 Benetton Ford F-1 kit this was the car driven by Jos Verstappen and Michael Schumacher in the '94 F-1 season, the kit was so crap mouldings, flash and decals that after finishing it I threw it in the parts box!!
Gonna try a Hasegawa when it arrives! hope it's better than Revell!:rocket:

Hey, that's the kit I'm currently working on. So far most of the interior has fit together okay. The exterior is a totally different story. I'll get some pics up once I'm done with it, unless anyone wants to see how it is doing thus far.

Shoot ! maybe you will give me some motivation to make it......

The chrome part are horrible too. the front grill need a lot of work since chrome paint block all the vent.... ahh anyway.. back to finish my F1-2000 by "the king" Tamiya
