Airbrush Compressor problems?
My compressor gave out today. I don't know why, hopefully someone does.
I was spraying normally, and it started getting really hot, and shut off. I don't know if this is a safety thing or what, as it came with no real instructions. I'll have to dig up the brand (it isn't on the compressor) but it's a standard noisless, tankless compressor. Got it at the hobby shop, best one there. :-/

Does it have an on/off switch or do you just plug it in to fire it up? If it's a plug in deal I doubt there is a circuit breaker on the compressor anywhere. I'll bet you popped a breaker in the fuse box. If that's the case you shouldn't run the compressor from the wall outlet or, if you were using too small of an extension cord, get a bigger one. Any of these will cause a large current draw and pop a breaker. Check it out and get back to us...

Hmph, turned it on after letting it sit for about 45 minutes, and it works fine. Must have some sort of safety mechanism in it, because I was using it for quite a long time and it was getting aweful hot.
