Tuner rims?

How do tuner (tuning) rims differ from regular rims? Are they more likely to crack etc.?

thanks

Tuner rims

Tuner rims are usually ultra light. As far as cracking, well depends on the brand. Most are JWL standards which is Japanese standards. OEM wheels are really strong rims with a trade off on being a little heavier.

So would you recommended tuner rims just for cruising not for racing?

Tuner wheels is just a made up title.

It's BS.

if you dont plan on racing with your g, you can use any wheel type out there..but becaseful of those really cheap brands as those do bend pretty easily... or are extremely heavy!

get some kosei's for great japanese quality at a cheep price. im using TR Motorsports Snipers, which are kosei's. i think the paint job is alittle below standard j-quality,but unless you stare at it from 3inches away, can't tell.

for my hobby car though, i would consider getting racingharts, volk, or at least the SSR's. I got SSRs on my lude.

I don't like the sniper's. I like a little thicker spokes.

The best rims for racing are the Volk Te 37's. They weigh only 8 lbs each if I'm not mistaken

My favorite Rim is the Racing Hart C5. It's kinda played out now, but I still like it.
