Where to get instrument light bulbs? `96

Are these a dealer only item? PepBoys has no idea. AdvanceAuto has none. Their electronic bulb spec device says it is supposed to be a 194 bulb. The bulb looks correct but it is stuck in one of those twisty two ear round base things. Is a bulb supposed to come OUT of that thing?

http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm says it should be a 161 bulb, but that still looks like just the bulb.

http://www.theherd.com/articles/bulbs.html says it is a "PC (Printed Circuit) board twist lock base".

http://www.midwayautosupply.com/deta...iption.asp?624 Do I need to buy some of these bases so I can put in whichever strength bulb I want?
