Where on trans. do I install temp guage?
Anyone know where to install sending unit for temp guage fo an add-on transmission cooler? Is there a port on trans to use? On pan?

Why not just add it to the add on transmisson cooler on the inlet side. Why would you think you need it anyway? This is not your typical ford van, ITS A VILLAGER!

Re: Where on trans. do I install temp guage?
I was adding it because I plan to pull a small pop-up camper in the hot summer. I would like to monitor the temps especially when I attempt more mountainous roads. I am not that concerned about flat roads to the beach, but the steep grades. You'll have to forgive my caution, but I used to have a Plymouth Voyager with well-known trans issues (as you may know).
Still don't think I need it? Just thought a cooler is cheaper than new transmission. |
