Subaru Impreza WRC ´06

Anybody that knows any manufacturer that is releasing this one in 1/24.. Tamiya perhaps? I hope it will be with a plastic underchassis if so..

Re: Subaru Impreza WRC ´06

Judging from the time and expense needed for new plastic tooling, I would expect a transkit before an all new plastic kit.

Re: Subaru Impreza WRC ´06

A transkit is an interesting option, but taking into account how much is new on the '06 car, I don't see one coming.

Re: Subaru Impreza WRC ´06

I hope someone will make one. I predict Tamiya will make the rally version in about 2 years, a few months shy of when Subaru does the redisign

Re: Subaru Impreza WRC ´06

Hasegawa is awsome! I think they just need to put more money/time into their autos section. The bodies are detailed. But everything else seems to have been cheapened out.

When has that ever made a difference to model companies?

Re: Subaru Impreza WRC ´06

Noone seems to make transkits for late model year cars. Sides Chris..But nothing stock really. Noone buys the import kits like the old fuddies buy 50 kits of the '57 bel air. I mean, there was that 22B transkit somwhere. But did you ever see it? Exactly my point. If someone made it, you proabably wouldn't even know.

Re: Subaru Impreza WRC ´06

i believe it shouldnt take long for Tamiya to release new Subaru WRC, as the only difference is the lights and the front grill / bumper, so which means new body tooling and some light clusters while using most parts from the older kits as with 2004/5 Subaru(new body, lights and spoiler and other new bits, rest of parts(chassis, rollcage, seats, wheels and suspension) from 2001 Subaru
